Tithonia rotundifolia Torch 'Mexican Sunflower' is a highly versatile for the garden that'll produce orange-scarlet flowers in mock daisy shapes throughout summer and into early autumn. They can grow quite tall, up to 1.2 metres! Perfect for the mid or back border. They're also perfect for any cut flower display or pollinator-friendly garden.

Sow seeds from mid-spring onwards with warmth provided, ideally under cover, and in trays. Sow thinly and lightly cover with soil, keeping them warm as they germinate, as they will struggle if they're kept somewhere cold. Germination will roughly take 10-21 days. Thin and pinch out when seedlings are large enough to handle. Grow on and plant out after all danger of frost has passed. Space plants apart by 30-45 cm when mature.
