Sunflower Giant 'Grey Striped' is a traditional style sunflower that grows six feet tall and produces big and bright flowers for the summer garden. Easy to grow, perfect for back of the border. It will also attract pollinators in their droves.

Start seeds indoors 3 to 4 weeks before last spring frost, often around May. If you prefer, sow seeds directly outside after all danger of frost has passed thinly atop of the soil. When seedlings are 5-7cm tall, thin into individual pots. Replant thinned plants. Protect from Snails and Slugs while young by using copper tape or a fine grit around the base of the plant. Gradually harden them off before planting out once the danger of frost has passed.
