Sunflower Autumn Beauty produces warm, earthy-toned flower heads throughout the season. They grow on 180cm tall, thick stems, appearing in late summer. Sow these seeds inside from March to April or outside from May to June.

- Planting Sow seeds thinly atop of the soil

- Pruning Prune dead or diseased leaves and cut back leggy growth
Start seeds indoors 3 to 4 weeks before last spring frost, often around May. If you prefer, sow seeds directly outside after all danger of frost has passed thinly atop of the soil. When seedlings are 5-7cm tall, thin into individual pots. Replant thinned plants. Protect from Snails and Slugs while young by using copper tape or a fine grit around the base of the plant. Gradually harden them off before planting out once the danger of frost has passed.
