For best results a cool windowsill is ideal, then the flowers will not extend or lean too far out of shape . To grow indoor hyacinth bulbs, we start with the soil quality first and foremost. Its soil should be moist and well-drained. Plant indoor hyacinths from September and into November. When planting hyacinths indoors, their bulbs can be covered midway up the bulb, with the top exposed. If growing multiple bulbs, they can be positioned quite close, as long as they do not touch. Water lightly and keep them somewhere dark for about 10 weeks until shoots appear and then pop them somewhere that reaches sunlight.
