Clematis Montana Marjorie is the world's first double-flowering Clematis Montana, known as the Mile a Minute Clematis. Produces creamy pink flowers with salmon centres and bronze tinted foliage. Like other Montana varieties, it will cover any fence, wall or unsightly object at an amazing rate. A great colourful alternative to the usual hedging plants, magnificent flowers cover the Clematis in late spring and a glossy green foliage lasts until November.

- Soil Type Humus rich, fertile and well drained soil.
- Pruning Prune in late winter to remove damaged/dead growth, approx 30-40cm from the ground. Cut back to healthy new buds.
Prune clematis back to keep it under control. Apply a liquid fertiliser each year during their growing season, and water regularly during hot periods. Clematis can be planted October-May in areas with good drainage and plenty of sun. Soak in a bucket of water prior to planting and plant deep enough to allow plenty of room for root development. The roots of clematis like to be kept cool so it is a good idea to plant amongst low growing shrubs or bedding plants. If planting in containers, ensure the pot is large enough to allow the roots to expand/develop, as limitation of roots will impede future success.
