King Mauve has shades of lilac-mauve and yellow. Dutch Iris are popular with florists and gardeners alike due to their reliable performance and they are easy to grow. Their long and strong stems coupled with clear coloured blooms make King Mauve ideal for summer bouquets.Growing up to 60cm in height, they are ideal for the middle of the perennial border. Dutch Iris are great garden and cut flowers. Flowering June-July. 7/8cm bulbs supplied.

Bulbs are to be planted 8cm deep and about 10-12cm apart, in well-drained soil. Ensure the bulbs are planted somewhere that has plenty of access to sun. For best results, plant your Iris bulbs from mid to late autumn to then see them flower in early spring or mid-summer. Take some care to prevent slugs and snails from attacking the iris once planted. Most Dutch iris are only suitable for planting in the garden or in a cool greenhouse or a cold frame.
