Before planting, ensure all traces of frost has passed, as frosty conditions might damage the plant. Ensure the soil is well-drained and moist, and plant 10-15cm deep. Position the corms in areas of the garden that reach plenty of sunlight, whether that be a sunny border or in a container that can be moved around to reach the most light. Water when the soil feels dry and feed with a high postash fertliser every two to three weeks while in bloom.
