Freesia bulbs should be planted in April in fertile and well-drained soil. Find an area of the garden that is sunny or partially sheltered and dig a hole that√Üs 5cm deep. Pop in the soil and space each bulb its own width apart from the other. Cover with soil and water. Make sure you also maintain a regular watering regime in hot weather, at least every day or when the soil feels dry to touch.
