Cannas are an excellent perennial that will add plenty of exotic colour to your garden borders, beds or containers. They thrive in sunny areas and will display in late summer some fantastic dark purple leaves, complimented with yellow flowers.Top grade rhizomes supplied.

- Soil Type Fertile/light, well drained soil.
- Pruning Deadhead to encourage continued flowering.
Unpack immediately upon arrival and give them a little water if needed. If potting up into containers, use a balanced compost as it is inclined to produce a hard crust if allowed to dry. Water freely during the growing season and make sure to dead-head regularly to prolong flowering. To plant bulbs, ensure they're planted 7-10cm deep. They are often best started in pots and then transplanted in borders or beds towards the end of May. The best placement for them is to plant them in a sunny position, preferably out of the wind.
