Soft green finely cut leaves in Spring which turn dark red in autumn. Very attractive. Japanese Maples are a must have ornamental garden plant. Height after 10 years 2.5m, spread 2m. Plant supplied in a 12cm pot.

Plant in fertile, well drained and moist soil. Acer shrubs prefer sunny or partial shaded areas, and can also be grown in pots. If growing in pots make sure that the pot is large enough to support the shrub and that it also has plenty of drainageholes. Use John Innes compost if planting in pots.
