Magnolia soulangeana

Magnolia soulangeana, also known as the Saucer Magnolia or Chinese Magnolia, is a striking variety, perfect for adding character and elegance to smaller gardens. A popular and hardy variety that produces eye-catching goblet-shaped white-pink flowers from April that then flourish and open out into a deep saucer shape with a pink-purple base through to May. The beautiful flowers stand on sturdy branches, where dark green leaves then flourish when the flowers begin to fall. A low spreading shapely tree, it reaches a mature height of 3m and can even be planted in large containers for patios or decking if needed. 25-30cm tall plant, supplied in a 2L pot.
