Lobelia Cascade Red produces clouds of tiny scarlet red blooms for months on end in the summer. It's cascading habit makes it the essential addition to any container or hanging basket! Easy to grow, perfect for gardeners of any skill.

Sow indoors 4-8 weeks before the last frost in spring somewhere warm, roughly 18-24C. Sow the seeds on the surface of the compost and firm them in gently. Keep soil damp but not wet. You can seal them in a plastic bag to aid humidity and save watering. Keep them somewhere sunny too. Germination will take roughly 10-21 days, depending on the temperature. Once they're big enough to handle, you can transplant them into trays and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise outside for 10-15 days after the risk of frost has passed.
