Limnanthes Douglasii Ssp Meringue is a free-flowering annual ground-covering plant that produces carpets of pure white flowers with bright yellow central anthers. A must-have choice for rockeries and walkways.

Sow indoors from Feb-Mar or directly outdoors in April-May. Scatter on top of moist, well-drained seed compost. Cover the seeds with a fine layer of soil. Germination takes roughly 14-20 days. Keep moist during germination. When they're large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 8cm pots. Plant them outside once all danger of frost has passed. Sow directly into well prepared soil that has been raked to a fine tilth. Sow 3mm deep in rows 30cm apart. Thin seedlings to 15cm spacing once growth appears.
