Hosta Great Expectations is a perennial plant that produces variegated pale yellow and dark green leaves. Will even produce flowers in shades of white-ish grey throughout summer. Perfect for the border or a large container.

Water well after planting and regularly in their first growing season. Mulch annually in spring with a good layer of leaf mound or garden compost around the plant. Slugs love hostas so you will need to protect against them. Plant straight away on arrival in any fertile, well drained soil. These are young plants, so please leave in small pots for 5 to 6 weeks and then pot on into a larger 1.5 - 2 litre pot, or plant into final spot.
