This fragrant evergreen shrub is essential for the herb garden. Their aromatic leaves are partner well for meaty dishes and will attract pollinators with ease. A winner of the RHS Plants for Pollinators award. Appears in grey-green shades and can produce small, pale pink and blue flowers.

Sow indoors from March to May or September to October. Press seeds into well-drained, moist compost, making sure not to cover them as they need light to germinate. Over sow as under 50% of seeds germinate. If they're failing to germinate, move them somewhere that's 4å¡C for 4 weeks and then return them somewhere warm. Transplant seedlings when they're big enough into larger pots before planting them outdoors once the danger of frost has passed. Avoid cutting them back too harshly as they will fail to grow back.
