Dahlia Happy Go Lucky is a decorative dahlia that produces large flower heads of light salmon pink and pastel yellow. These flower heads can grow as large as 15cm across, sitting atop strong stems. A perfect contender for growing at the back of a border, thanks to its height, or for cutting and displaying in a seasonal bouquet.

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
