Courgette Ambassador F1 is an early variety that provides a high yield of uniform dark green fruits. Courgettes are known to be an easy pick for beginner gardeners, and Ambassador is no exception. A must-have choice for any vegetable patch.

To start seeds off early in spring, place a seed sideways 1/2 inch deep in seed compost in a small seed pot. The critical part is temperature - they prefer warm conditions until germinated. Germination usually takes around 7-10 days. Keep the soil moist but try to water around the plants, not over them. Keep soil weed-free to allow air circulation. Feed regularly with a high-potassium fertiliser when the first fruits start to appear.
