Clematis Prince William

Prince William' is an attractive Clematis climber that produces striking purple-red flowers in a similar shape to a Tulip that then flatten out as it matures that contrast beautifully with the pale-yellow anthers and lush green foliage. A hardy plant, they flower from June through to September and are great for adding a splash of vivid colour to fencing, walls or even grown within patio containers for gardeners will less space. We recommend planting this pretty Clematis in sunny areas of the garden in well-drained, fertile soil where they prefer to have their roots kept cool and shaded with a layer of pebbles or low growing plants. Regular pruning will encourage strong growth and allow you to manage your Clematis to the manageable height and spread that best suits your garden as when left, they can grow up to 2m.
