Chaenomeles sup. 'Crimson and Gold'

Chaenomeles Crimson & Gold, holder of an RHS AGM and listed on the RHS Plants for Pollinators, produces beautiful crimson-red flowers with striking golden anthers throughout spring. Once flowering has finished, aromatic green fruit follows, which can be turned into jams or jellies (Chaenomeles are part of the quince family). As this deciduous shrub is relatively compact, it is the perfect choice for a small garden or allotment.
