Agapanthus Black Pantha (also known as the African Lily) is a semi-evergreen, tall bloom that grows to heights of 60cm. Its deep blue-ish black flowers appear in a clump formation, with separate hanging umbels coming off each bloom. Its an unusual but striking effect that will provide you with months of colour throughou summer. Grows to heights of 50-100cm tall. First grade loose roots supplied.

To plant loose rooted agapanthus, start by soaking the roots in a bucket of water for 1-2 hours beforehand. Then, dig a hole in the border that’s big enough to house the root system. If you’re planting them in pots, then fill a large pot halfway with soil, adding the crown of the plant pointing upwards. Ensure the crown is just below the soil. Water well once planted. Loose rooted agapanthus should be planted in spring directly into the garden somewhere that gets plenty of sunshine.
