Narcissi Professor Einstein produces outstanding variety of fragrant large cupped daffodils named after the famous mathematician. These vigorous daffodils grow dazzling frost white perianths with vivid orange crown centres.The most versatile of varieties performing well in beds, borders, large pots or containers, good for indoor forcing with the added bonus of being excellent cut flowers. 12/14cm bulbs supplied. Height 45cm. Flowers early April.

- Planting Plant approx 10cm deep, roughly twice the depth of the bulb.
- Soil Type Fertile, well drained soil.
- Pruning Deadhead faded flowers, allow foliage to die down naturally, prune only once turned yellow.
Daffodils (or narcissi) are both easy to grow and incredibly reliable. Like many bulbs, it takes very little time to plant them. Remove any weeds in the area you‚Äôd like to plant your bulbs and dig at the soil to aerate it. Fork in some organic matter to improve the drainage and soil structure. Daffodils prefer sunny spots and well-drained soil, so keep this in mind when planting. Plant each bulb 2-3 times the bulbs height and place the bulb with the shoot facing upwards. Space them twice the bulbs width apart. Cover with soil and water if the ground is dry.
