Add some drama to your summer garden with Dahlia Hollyhill Spider Woman. This unusual variety of Cactus Dahlia has dark red and white spikes blending with pinks at the heart. It is ideally planted in a sunny garden border or patio pot, when the Dahlia is in full flower it can be cut for an excellent cut flower display. The blooms are between 15-20cm and the height is between 90-120cm, flowering is from July to September. Top size Dahlia tubers are supplied.

Dahlia tubers can be planted outdoors, 10cm deep in fertile well-drained soil in spring when the frost has disappeared. They prefer to be in a sunny location and spaced at approximately 45cm apart. In areas where there is extreme cold, dig up dahlias and store in potting compost over the winter. Apply a high potash fertiliser every few weeks in the summer to help growth. Dead head when necessary.
