Tulip Clusiana Chrysantha is a striking bi-coloured bloom that produces slender, red and yellow flowers that grow on strong stems throughout March at a height of 25cm. This beautiful dwarf tulip has received the RHS prestigious Award of Garden Merit for its outstanding excellence. It will look stunning in a rockery or at the front of a border, and is great for cut flowers.

- Soil Type Well drained, fertile soil.
- Pruning Remove faded flowers, leave the stem and foliage until they have turned yellow/brown.
Tulip bulbs should be planted in autumn, before any frost. Find an area of soil that is well-drained and moist and plant your bulbs at twice their depth and spaced apart by 10-15cm. Ensure they are properly covered, you should not be able to see them on the surface of the soil. Position in an area that you know receives plenty of sunlight but is also sheltered from harsh winds. Deadhead the flowers once they wilt, encouraging a healthier plant.
