This must-have Tiger Lily produces dramatic, deep red/black flowers that can be as large as 15cm in diameter on tall stems. The depth of colour is outstanding, making them quite unusual whilst elegant and fashionable. Ideal for the back of a border where these hardy flowers will act as a focal point. Also make excellent cut flowers where you can enjoy their stunning scent Flowers from July to September for a lost lasting display. We supply 14/16cm bulbs.

- Pruning Deadhead after flowering has finished. Leave as much foliage as possible so that energy is directed back to bulb.
Lily bulbs will greatly appreciate the shelter of low growing shrubs or other plants near their roots. In active growth, apply water freely a high potash liquid fertilizer every two weeks or so. When planting, each bulb should surrounded with a little sharp sand both under and above the bulb to keep slugs away and to ward off excessive wetness. As most lilies are stem rooting, we strongly recommend you plant about 15cm deep. They give a much better display when planted in clumps of 3, 6 or 12 bulbs, spaced 45cm apart. Plant from December to April to see them appear in summer.
