Carnation Chabaud Mixed provides a variety of frilled, fragrant flowers for your summer displays. Full of colour, these carnations produce a mixture of shades, from yellows to deep reds and pinks. These blooms are half hardy and can grow into early autumn. Sow seeds from Jan-May or outside from June-Oct.

- Planting Press each seed lightly into the soil's surface and do not cover

- Pruning Deadhead faded flowers to prolong flowering
Sow under cover at 8-10 weeks before the last day of frost, which is often in May. Can be sown later as a bi-annual to flower the following year. These seeds need lots of light to germinate. Press each seed lightly into the soil's surface and do not cover, keeping the soil moist. Germination can take around 10-14 days. Transplant to separate pots or trays when large enough to handle, moving them outside after any danger of frost has past. For a striking display, plant in groups of 3-4 seedlings. Space seedlings about 30cm apart. Plant out in full sun and a rich, well-drained soil.
