Berberis Thunbergii Rose Glow

A dark-leaved variety, Berberis Harlequin offers striking interest across all seasons. Foliage appears in early spring; deep purple leaves are contrasted with creamy-white and pink mottling. Soft yellow flowers in are then followed by dark red berries and foliage in autumn. This variety is known for attracting wildlife to the garden, in particular birds and bees. It is listed on the RHS Plants for Pollinators and has also been awarded the RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit). Being quite compact (it will grow to around 1.2m in height), we recommend planting Berberis Harlequin in the middle of the border.
