Ageratum Blue Mink, also known as Floss Flower, is a superb bloom that produces large and fluffy purple-blue flowers. A unique option for the seasonal garden. Plus, they're highly attractive to pollinators! Half-hardy, flowering from July to September. Quite compact, able to be grown in containers or beds - whatever takes your fancy.

Start sowing these seeds from late winter to mid-spring somewhere warm. They need to be roughly 15-18C to germinate, which will take 10-15 days. Keep soil damp, not wet, and keep them somewhere sunny. When they're large enough to handle, transplant them and grow them in cooler conditions until they're large enough to go outside. Once the risk of frost has passed, begin to acclimatise them over a week or two. Finally, transplant them fully into their final position somewhere sunny.
